Awful supermarket, can't shop using the scanner without getting a quality check every time we go, made complaint to head office and got fobbed off with its random, is it heck, random isn't 25 visits in a row, got quality checked yesterday yet again, scanner was slow and we had problems, checked out full shopping as everyone else and the staff member had scanned an item twice when we looked at receipt after, gone very expensive, Tesco is now out regular supermarket where we don't get ripped off !

Horrible, I ordered groceries which never arrived and never even got packed.. they kept delaying and delaying and I never received the order

Have on repeated occassions found out of date items on the shelf. Usually the precooked meals in the fridges so be warned. Pointed it out to a nearby worker and they shrugged. Also they need to put 2 people on the lottery/cigarette kiosk as often big queues at lunchtime with a spare till available.

I bought the game "FC24" for PlayStation 5 in store. After removing the foil, I saw that the disc box had slight damage. Under British law, I have the right to return a product that turns out to be defective. I went to return it to the store where I bought it. I have the receipt. The employee refused to return it, arguing that he had removed the foil from the packaging. I decided to print out my rights as a consumer. I printed out the recipes from the GOV.UK website and on April 6, 2024 I went to the same store again. The staff called an employee named "Dan" who pretended to be the store manager. I tried to show him the consumer rights card from the GOV.UK website, but the employee rudely cut the topic off by saying he didn't care and that the store had its own policy. After about 20 minutes, I went back to the service desk and asked the store manager again. I informed him that I believed he was breaking the law and wanted to record our conversation, and then I asked if he had said during the previous conversation that he was not interested in British consumer law. Of course, the employee denied it and, knowing that the conversation was being recorded, tried to speak in a different way. I asked if he thought the store's policy was contrary to British law. This employee told me that he could replace the product with a new one, but he would not refund the money because the product did not have a protective foil. I agreed and when he brought me the new game, I asked if everything was OK with it and if it was sealed. The employee replied yes. At the same time, I asked for a refund. Since the item is in the original foil, there is no problem. The manager named Dan behaved very unprofessionally, aggressively taking the game from the counter, shouting to the employee next to him to cancel the exchange and running out to the store with the game. I informed the employee who was left to call his manager again because I recorded the conversation in which he promised to replace the game. The manager came back and replaced the game for me, but at the same time he completely destroyed my receipt, crossing out the product on it and writing on other items. If the new disc turned out to be defective, I would not be able to return it because the store manager had completely erased the receipt. As a self-employed person, I am not able to use this receipt for tax purposes. I informed the manager about this, but he informed me that he was not interested in it.

To the lady who was manning the Travel Money Kiosk on Monday 8th April 2024 at 3pm, sorry I didn't get your name but you were brilliant, this was my annual trip to your store to get Euros. The whole experience was professional and easy, I was the chap who we joked about being a solo traveler and preferred not to be bothered on holiday? She was excellent, a great example of super service. 10/10 :) I tried posting on ASDA's website, but I don't know store number or transaction number, so I failed in there.
