A few months since the new owners took over and it is still not the same. The sticky buttery cinnamon that usually gets all over no longer oozes from the roll and the sugar topping is skimpy. I’ll give them another six months or so.
Terrible. And at $5 each, highway robbery. The new owners have no idea what they’re doing but are more than happy to charge a ridiculous price. What a disappointment
Note this is no longer owned by the same people and the cinnamon rolls are flat and gross now! They still try to make it appear as if they are the same but don’t waste your time or money!!
My mom has been eating these Cinnamon rolls since before I was born. I’m 29 and I’ve been coming here since I could remember. I called to place an order as usual, because I order dozens at a time, and the guy on the phone could barely take my order. Didn’t think much of it until I picked up the next day. Sandy and Larry would always take out my order straight from the oven…but this time mine were the ones in the case that looked like they’d been left over from the day before. I asked the magic question and sure enough they said they were new owners which made sense!! Taste is okay, but needs more glaze and the thickness and softness is definitely under par. It seemed like they were a little hard or a day old. I can understand that buying the recipe doesn’t mean anything, but the new owners should consider paying a consulting fee to learn how to make them with “love”. I “thankfully” bought 8 instead of my normal 2 dozen. Hopefully they can figure it out.
New ownership ruined the recipe. It’s dry and just doesn’t taste the same anymore. Gross
Spinners was recently sold to another party. They changed the name but kept the recipe. Unfortunately the didn't get the expertise. The food is almost unrecognizable.
Cinnamon rolls are not the same under new ownership. I almost walked out before buying this and I should have. Tastes as good as it looks
