Me and my fiancee celebrated my birthday in Sistina. The stuff is super professional and attentive. Even though it was Friday night and we made our reservation very last minute, we got the table upon our request. The food is absolutely amazing and everything just melted in a mouth, especially Italian Crudo. The wine we chose was not available, but we were offered even more expensive wine for the same price, that turned out to be just fantastic. At last: we were full, and didn't have space for the desert, but because the stuff knew we celebrated my birthday, they still brought little dessert plate with a candle and a song. Very cute. It's unforgettable experience on a special occasion and we will definitely be back.
The restaurant was lovely. The crowd older with sport jackets, typical upper east side The restaurant was lovely. The crowd, older with sport jackets. When you arrive, they place and prosciutto and cheese on the table. I was shocked to find that they added $50 to the bill which was expensive to begin with, for the prosciutto and cheese. I guess it’s buyer beware? You would think after spending $400 they would not be charging for this. This is a very low class thing to do for an upscale restaurant.
Excellent Italian restaurant conveniently located next door to The Met museum. The menu is original and extensive, and in addition to that they always have a long list of specials. Good for a relaxing dinner after an art show. A bit on the expensive side but totally worth it.
Horrible crazy owner with no manners
Great Staff, Amazing Wine Selection and Delicious Food!
Rude staff and bad food. I’m not that picky. It’s really beyond bad.
The food is decent and the staff are friendly. The service can be slow and inconsistent. The atmosphere is what you are really paying for.
