Overrated alert. I am basing this off the review of the plain slice. Wow it is average. Tasted like any corner store pizzeria. Maybe slices with toppings are better but gold standard is plain and this one wasn’t great. The ones with toppings did look better too. The crust wasnt bad but it was oily. Not my favorite.
A line is a indication of good food which did not disappoint. Best pizza lower Eastside.
Really good pizza- crunchy crust, great flavors. Line was long when we went on a Saturday midday, but I was entertained by the tech bros behind me who loudly discussed how maybe they wanted to get into modeling. The line did not move super quick, but there was the option to order a whole pie and have table service. That section, when we went, was less busy than the line for slices.
Best NYC slice I've ever had. They don't seat people after a certain point which was a bummer (mostly cuz the girl telling me so wasn't nice about it). BUT - you can eat a slice outside on the benches. They get that thing super toasty in the oven and it was perfect for a quick meal.
Great place to get a New York Slice, a Sicilian Slice, and some garlic knots. Full service bar as well. Service was quick and easy accepting card and cash. The place has minimal seating so if you’re wanting to sit down and eat you may have to be patient. Restaurant and public restroom was well kept and clean. Friendly staff.
Famous for a reason. No matter if NY style slice or deep dish square, taste is just amazing.
