Santiago’s Mexican Restaurant

So they moved to a new location in the same shopping center. The food was good and the staff was friendly. I Wish inside seating was like the brighton location. With a wait staff.

So I placed an online order and what I found when I got home was maddening to say the least! The pint of rice was whatever they scraped off the bottom of the pan, super hard and crunchy. Also darker in color and clumped together! As I began to eat my main entree I soon realized the same old nasty rice had been mixed in it as well! I guess that new fancy building has caused them to have to cut back on quality! $20 I should have just thrown out the window! Just can’t get anything decent out of a restaurant these days!

Taco bell has more flavor and is cheaper than this Santiagos. This Santiagos is not even close to the one in Castle Rock, totally different. This is a fast food place with slow service. No free chips and salsa? Can’t say you are a Mexican restaurant and not have free chips and salsa with your order. I had the Carne Asada Plate, about $15. The meat was tough and didn’t taste like anything. Pico was mostly onions and also didn’t taste like anything. Guac and refried beans were ok. Can’t recommend this place.

Rude service from Angel. I’m not coming back

I always get the carnita street tacos with a side of chicharones and the half and half Chile. Oh so good.

Service was bad and need more people. They made my order wrong. And they didn’t wanted to redo it because it was made already.

The new place looks great, friendly staff, great food
