If you’re looking for a restaurant to please everyone Sammy’s is the spot to go to. They have a very extensive menu including salads, sandwiches, tacos, pastas, fish and their signature woodfired pizzas. And of course you have to get their amazing desserts like the messy sundae or the dessert pizzas. Sammy’s has one of the best happy hours too. Everyday from 3-6 pm enjoy select appetizers at 50% off and $2 off beer and wine. . .
I had a horrible experience with the manager named Shyan. Not sure if that's spelled correctly. Anyway, I ordered the large chopped chicken salad using Uber Eats on Wednesday, 12/13/2022. I specifically put notes that I wanted balsamic dressing, tomatoes, and sourdough bread with butter for a family size. I received a large salad with a few tomatoes. It was not enough tomatoes even for an individual chopped chicken salad. There were only 2 small pieces of sourdough bread with no butter. Lastly, it came with Italian dressing, which my wife is allergic to. I called Sammy's and the manager, Shyan answered. I explained to Shyan what I ordered and how I specifically put notes on my order. Shyan was very short and extremely rude. There was no customer service, concern or care for my issue. Shyan didn't say anything when I explained how my wife is allergic to the Italian dressing. Shyan needs extensive training on how to treat customers. I love the food at Sammy's and it's too bad that I had to submit a 1 star. However, this is only towards Shyan and the lack of customer service along with not beingcordial. I really don't understand how some managers think that it's ok to abuse that position.
Food good but old name is better change it back or I’m upset
Had a great lunch! Great food here.
Tonight, I went with my wife to get dinner and some wine at the Scripps Ranch location since we live a couple blocks over and we were walking around the neighborhood. Our little daughters don’t eat anything from their limited kids menu, so we got them McDonald’s next door so we could enjoy our dinner without a rush while they eat theirs. The hostess sat us down and when we were about to order the manager kicked us out because the girls were eating outside food. This never happened to us and we have done this at much fancier restaurants. Nobody ever gave us an issue and kicked us out because we like to eat adult food but our little daughters don’t. They never gave us an option like buying a desert for the girls (which we were planning to) or anything like that.
