This location has exceptionally poor customer service. They lied about having attempted a second delivery. They don't answer the phone or return messages left for them. We then went out of our way to pick up the arrangement after telling them we would do that, and upon arrival they said it was out for delivery! They really need to get their act together. The manager on duty was not helpful. My guess is the owner/franchisee is absent and doesn't train the employees very well. My advice, find another place to get your gift. _____ So they responded below and I gave them my phone number in an email. Of course they didn't call me to talk about my experience because their customer service is non-existent. But I will say the fruit is delicious. ____ In response to my review, they demonstrated that they care about customers. A delivery showed up at my house with a free box of fruit. Thank you. Yummy! Yet I can help but wonder what would;d have happened if no one was home?
Being out of state, I chose the "same day service" online and was very pleased with the arrangement that my mom got. The photo she sent was better then i expected. She was having a sad day, and this was a wonderful option to choose to get her to feel better . The time frame was about 4 hours from when i ordered to her getting the arrangement and the balloon bundle. Great job Poway store. Thank you!!
Never again! 0 stars! I will never use any edible arrangements as an option for gifts because of this store. Harry & David here I come! I had the worst customer experience today!!! This is my 2nd time dealing with this edible arrangement store. The 1st time, I scheduled a delivery that never arrived & when I called about an hr past my delivery time I was told the driver forgot to get my order from the store. Well can they deliver the next day. No they can’t & I have to pick it up myself. Today Is my 2nd time dealing with this same store with its horrendous customer service. So I called to redeem my birthday coupon that edible arrangement sent to my email & the lady on the phone pretty much told me to call customer service to figure it out because I’m not in the system & she said by the way we are no longer taking any more orders. I’m thinking to myself this chic obviously don’t want to help me. I have 2 kids under 4yrs & I work full time. Rude customer service just gets me so upset. Here is my coupon RMPTVL892536 that this lady refused to use. Today Edible arrangement lost a customer for LIFE & I will never see this company the same. So disgusted.
Never again! I placed an order for Mother’s Day. I had called and rescheduled the order to pick up the day of. Received an email confirmation to pick up on Mother’s Day. My daughter picked up for me and she was told that I was suppose to pick up the day before. When we got the fruit it looked like it was made a couple days before and tasted like it was old. I have ordered many times before and have had exceptional quality fruit. I placed a complaint to the corporate office and they said the store would get back to me. It’s been a week now and I haven’t heard back.
I rarely leave reviews, but, DON'T ORDER from them if you can't wait until 5 pm! Placed an order the day before Sun. afternoon for a birthday arrangement. The store is in Poway to be delivered downtown Escondido to a business address. The following day is 4:30 pm and it hasn't been delivered yet. Called twice, to be told that their policy says that it can be delivered anytime up to 5 pm. and was offered to deliver it the arrangement the following day. A fruit Basket, I asked!? Very disappointing :( Edit / Addition: The arrangement was delivered on Wend. 2 days late, it was supposed to deliver Mon.
I'd NEVER recommend this business to anyone due to the unprofessionalism, the lack of accountability and the dishonesty of it's employees and manager. I called the store on a Friday midday to see how to go about placing an order for a specific date, as COVID has caused many businesses to understandably operate differently than normal. I was told I could only place an order on-line and when I explained to the staff member that I wanted it for a Sunday, her recommendation was to place the order for a late Saturday afternoon pick up so the fruit would be the freshest. She did not mention at all that their hours of operation are currently different than the hours clearly posted on their website-which shows they are open until 5pm. I placed the order on-line and chose a 3:30 pick up time because the store hours on the website stated the location was open until 5pm. At no time was I notified my order was ready for pick up-even though the manager told me later that an email was generated stating it was ready. At 3:50, an associate from the store called to tell me they were closing at 4...I live 30 minutes away. I asked if they could have someone wait a few minutes for me to arrive since the website showed the store was open until 5. She told me she would contact the manager and ask, but they typically could only stay 10 minutes past closing time. As I tried to contact someone closer to the location to see if they could pick it up for me any sooner than I could get there, the associate called back and left a message stating she was given permission to stay until 4:10 and asked if I could call back to let them know when I'd have the arrangement picked up, but that they would be turning off their phones at 4pm. I tried to call back immediately having arranged for someone else to pick it up earlier, and of course since the phones were off, it went straight to their voicemail. I tried to call back multiple times and left a message hoping to reach someone. The person arrived to pick up the order just at 4:10 and no one was there-the store was dark. This was an arrangement for my toddler's birthday. My kiddo has allergies and special needs, so I can't just swing by a local store and pick up a cake. To make matters worse, when I called to speak to the manager, she apologized, but then said they haven't had a problem with anyone else picking up their order on time. She basically blamed me for the situation, and offered no way to make things right due to her company's mistake. She told me she came in to work (Monday morning) to a voice message from me and that she hadn't heard anything about the situation before speaking to me...but her employee "called the manager to get permission" and when I asked about that, she told me she had been in training all day Saturday and hadn't spoken to anyone about it. When I asked what they could do to make up for the situation, she asked me what I wanted to happen (no offer of anything other than a complete refund). When I told her I would like to have my arrangement for my kid's birthday even though it had already passed, she told me they don't deliver to my area and I could come in and pick up something, but it wouldn't be what I'd ordered. She continued to apologize insincerely, but at no point did she attempt to help, and she continued to put the blame on me. I'm sorry, but that sort of attitude and lack of actual customer service is not how you keep customers.
