Amazing food! Super nice and generous owner/staff. Everything was very delicious (falafel was crunchy and moist, curry chicken had great flavor). Brought our young kids and they enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

I literally eat her every week for work lunch. The chicken platter is my go to the hummus and the salad or delicious. Chicken is always juicy. Flavorful. Consistent. My only wishes that they were open later in the evening :-)

Such a nice place to enjoy a delicious, large generous portion of the real Mediterranean food. We ordered the kafta kabab platter and the kafta was so tender and juicy; the tastiest kafta I’ve ever tried. Our second choice was the combination platter included gyro and chicken and was super good and fresh too. The platters come with two sides of your choice like hummus, rice, baba ganoug, taboule, and fries. Our choices were hummus, baba ghanoug, rice, and fries and they came in a very good portion and were super tasty.

The food is very fresh and authentic, but the customer service is defintely lacking. For a small "cafe", it's pretty much what you'd expect as far as decor...nothing fancy, but it's clean. They have a good variety of European Grocery & bakery items for sale, which is very nice. If you can get past the lack of customer service (everyone just seems "bothered" that they have to wait on you) the food is worth it, because the food is outstanding and delicious!

This is cafe t. It is not restaurant. The food and place are Ok. The price is reasonable. But be careful the water bottle it will cot you $2.45 that is double even the nice restaurant.

Really bad customer service…I called in to order and the person was just being rude, and ended up hanging up on me!!!

Sahara Cafe is a Sarasota gem; best lunch in town.

Love the food when dine in, carry out is not the same. Loses consistency and gyros portion much smaller. Have eaten there 10 times. My goto for real Mediterranean food.
