Star Thai & Sushi Siesta Key

It was our 37th anniversary We stopped in to Star Thai and sushi after a romantic walk on the beach for an incredible sunset. A perfect day What a chance stop. Star Thai is definitely our favorite Thai restaurant now in Sarasota The atmosphere is totally fun Happy The food was just incredible Huge sashimi slices Thai chili grilled salmon Gf pad Thai Then the bartender brings out his trumpet to honor our anniversary Fireworks A slice of cheese cake and a decorated platter. The whole staff came to congratulate us. Incredible So nice and totally reasonable. Dietary restrictions: My wife is dairy and gluten free. They have gluten free soy sauce. So nice

being greeted walking in to sitting at my favourite bar in town with our favourite Bar Tender GOLFY and eating my favourite "Tuna Crisp" in Paradise

This was absolutely the BEST food and EXPERIENCE ever!!! Do not underestimate this place, the servers were phenomenal. They made our vacation even better. They also got a picture of us to stick to their wall and extras for us to keep!!!

The white tuna is awesome. Everything great with the exception of the trouble kareoke singing. Just as bad as my spelling of kareoke.

What a place! Don’t be discouraged by the exterior or dark inside, this place has great food and vibes once the place fills out. We came with a large group and practically everything we ordered was delicious. Sushi rolls were generous sizes and despite not loving cream cheese in sushi, we were very impressed with the Venice roll and the Beneva roll. The quality of the salmon sashimi was also fantastic. Sake selection was good, and service was excellent as well. We didn’t try any of the Thai food but we will be back to give it a try soon! Parking: Free Municipal lot behind the building, but if that’s fill you have to pay $6 for one of the other spots
