My husband and I had dinner here last month. Something was “wrong” with my drink. It hit me almost immediately. I knew something was wrong by the time we got to our car. When I got home, I was very sick. When Summer House sent me a questionnaire asking about my experience at the restaurant, I answered, telling them how sick I got. I never heard back from them. Beware of the drinks. Something was amiss. I’ll never return there.

First time dining at Summer House and the food was culinary perfection The waitress was so friendly and attentive, the general manager stopped by our table and we had such a nice conversation, he was so kind…even gave shark tooth necklaces to our boys! We will definitely be back!

This is Broken Egg, not Summer House and it was really good. Always is anything with chorizo, just order it... Also a pretty good bloody, solid service

The food was phenomenal. By far one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. And Derek provided awesome service!

If you’re serious about steak in Sarasota, you should give this one a try. Our daughter recommended we check it out. Didn’t realize until I got there that steak is def a specialty. Got the Wagyu sirloin which was better than every filet I’ve ever had… which means I need to try their filet next time. Service impeccable. Nice mocktails if that’s your thing. Best steak I can recall and I can recall a lot of great steaks.
