Still our favorite BBQ spot
Used to be much cheaper and that was a solid staple of Phil’s but… inflation, politics, greed, bla bla bla.
Honestly, I am from Alabama so I am really picky about my BBQ! This place is the closest I have while I’m stationed here! Great sweet tea too!!
Amazing favorite place in the area
Update review: It’s been a while we haven’t eaten Phil’s, and today we brought our friends here who came to visit from NYC. I think this is one of the best local places in San Diego. I think our friends enjoy the experience. The Beef Ribs are the best, probably one is enough for ladies. I finally tried their corn bread. I love it, the whipped butter is great add on. Previous Review: San Diego has so many bbqs, Phil’s is till my favorite. The first time I tried it was at Midway location, and then I brought my parents in law there, they definitely loved it. I also tried their location inside the airport. It seems that people don’t like it, but I do, I think it’s still very delicious. And this time, I tried the location in Rancho Bernardo, it’s a big place, and the inside is big and clean. The food, of course, is soooooo yummy. My favorite is always the baby back ribs, plus macaroni salad and Cole slaw. I also love their onion rings. If you haven’t tried Phil’s, you have to!
Delicious, affordable and quick!
Alot of San Diego people like Phil's.But for me it's Good OK their are 3 types of Good(Good ok-Good Good or Good Great)Their food is quick.( I do love their Beef Ribs). Prices are average, and coleslaw needs more sauce. Enjoy a lot of people do.Oh yeh, their Onion Rings are the Bomb too..When you order combos, you get 2. Parking: Alot of parking Kid-friendliness: Kids will love this place. Wheelchair accessibility: They have ramps.
