Park East Kosher

Only place to go for quality meat. You can tell the owners take pride in their meat. Great selection and always premium cuts. Fantastic marbling. Been to many other kosher butchers they all sell lean junk.

Andre in customer service is the biggest asset to this place. Every time I have an issue he kindly and efficiently handles it. He is so generous, giving way more than I requested for the time price when asked to re-deliver an order. No questions asked, he'll help a customer out.

I give it four stars and not five because for five the quality has to be top notch and for the value...but this place is very close...would really do four and a half if I could. I bought a pot pie which was fair for the price and for the size, actually had good amounts of meat and veges. Was a well made pot pie...although small but reasonable for the price. The black and white cookie was a little too sweet and could have had more frosting, but was soft and moist which is not easy to find unless you make it yourself....very well made cookie and for around $5 bucks in Manhattan, not too bad in price....good overall place. Pricey but recommended for value if you don't mind spending a little more. But anywhere you go you will spend in this part of Manhattan...so give it a try.
