Love their coffee. Always quality. And if you want to be bamboozled price wise and avoidently treated, it's a place to visit. Ordered a drink that was priced differently on their menu that was outdated going months apparently and was encouraged to deal with it. Sorry. Honor the price on your menu. Manager ran to the back to avoid the issue and sent out two people to retell me the same story (albeit for different reasons). No one clearly talks to each other and apparently an establishment at this high esteem can't see the forest through the trees and honor $1 to ensure they keep a consistent customer. Please support businesses that don't take advantage.
Cozy, warm and welcoming ambiance. Staff is friendly and helpful. My go to is an iced matcha. I also really enjoyed their breakfast burrito. For dinner I recently tried their salmon & it was delicious. Def recommend!
Let me first say that I am very selective when it comes down to coffee and dagny has very pleasantly surprised me. The coffee is strong and flavorful and the bakery items are very fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. No one bothers you so you can do your work without interruptions, if that’s what you are here for.Awesome music (Pink Floyd, Beach boys) that was not intrusive played in the background so I couldn’t ask for more. Will be back to try other items on their menu. As the need grows for this part of Astoria for more businesses, I am very happy to see places like Dagny opening up!
awesome space with all kinds of goodies to eat and drink throughout the day. Just moved here and love it
Very bizarre experience here - you can’t just sit and get a coffee, have to be seated and the hostess has a weird energy and was mad at us for thinking we could just sit (in a coffee shop). The staff clearly hasn’t figured out a solidified message about sitting/eating. Two coffees and two pastries were $24. Absolutely insane. I’d go to pretty much any other coffee shop in Astoria!
Nice ambiance. Good coffee. Not all items on the menu were available.
This place has become a go-to for me on my work from home days. The staff is friendly, the space is modern (usually with some nice, calming jazz or similar genre of music playing), there is a private room to work in, excellent coffee, and good bites. This is a hidden gem, and anyone looking to get out of their cramped apartment and for a change of scenery for work from home/studying, look not further!
