Visit around lunch time for some fresh Orange Chicken - but be ready for bit of a wait.
No, I don't want to give you more of my money so that you can have a tax write off
Frequent lunch stop for me mainly based on location. Duterer does a great job of keeping the place clean and he's very personable.
Panda is extreme famous in San Diego though the food is not that healthy with a lot oil and grease but that's not the case, the annoy thing is about the charity. We saw 5 young students coming in and they reluctant to do it because they are HS students but the cashier ask and they feel they have to put in some money or they will embarrass with their friends. Panda express even make a point out of this with a bell ring so everyone in the store knows. Please stop doing that, put a jar if the charity name, hospital, orphanage, or whatever it is, if they want it, they do it, you don't have to ask to make them feel guilty about it. Please just stop.
I enjoy the food very much. Its not P.F. Chang, but I wasn't looking to spend $100. I enjoy everything on the menu, and usually order a large side of rice for the next day. I hate the fact that they discontinued their fried shrimp, there is no reason they could give me that I would accept. The beef side is a dollar extra but worth it. And the orange chicken is as good as you will get anywhere. Their sides are really good, spring roles are my favorite. They also have a great variety of drinks and boxes of fortune cookies. The services is fast and accurate, and friendly. The quality of the meat and vegetables is very high, and the vegetables are crisp and moist. I have no complaints, I'm usually happy with my meal even when I order something wishing I had ordered something else. It's all part of a good healthy meal. And I don't see me not continuing my patronage. Try them, you won't be sorry.
