This has to be one for the locals... I had a hankering for some BBQ, so after a quick Google search, we arrived. The atmosphere A1. The food was not it. Although flavorful, the ribs were dry as well as room temperature. The beans were definitely Bush's baked beans. And the potatoe salad was very salty. I am not a local, but this is my experience and for the amount of money I will not be returning.
This was my second time here, and it wasn't as good as my first time. The chicken was kind of dry, and there was not enough sauce for it at all!
Amazing BBQ, especially the ribs! Staff was really welcoming. Met the owner Charles and he was very pleasant as well. This place really values their customers and takes great pride in what they do! Will definitely return more than once.
I recently ordered from Old Brick Pit BBQ, excited to enjoy some good BBQ near my house. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. I ordered the smoked half-chicken, ribs, pulled pork, brunswick stew, and mac and cheese. The smoked half-chicken was okay, and the ribs were a bit dry. However, I found the ribs, pulled pork, and brunswick stew to have an odd taste that I can't quite describe. Even though I typically enjoy vinegar-based sauces, they couldn't salvage the overall flavor of the BBQ. On a positive note, the mac and cheese side was the standout item of my meal, providing a delicious contrast to the other dishes. Overall, I was disappointed with the BBQ at Old Brick. While the mac and cheese was enjoyable, the rest of the offerings left me wanting more in terms of flavor and satisfaction.
