My group of six dined here, and unfortunately, two of us experienced stomach discomfort from the meal. We received lamb instead of the kofta kebabs we ordered. Additionally, when we pointed out the mistake, we were compensated with only a single skewer of kofta, not the two we were due. The discomfort following the meal and the error in our order have led me to decide not to return.
Great experience. We had an amazing time, the server was great and everyone was full and happy.
Literally was browsing Maps for a place to eat, and the menu made us come here for dinner. I’m really glad we did. The staff were incredibly sweet, and kind of funny. The restaurant is really nice inside - perfect for impressing that special someone. It was hard to pick out entrees out of the great selection. The apps on the other hand we knew exactly what we wanted - hummus and FIRE CHEESE. Yes, they light it on fire at the table. The pita was incredible and I could have filled on up on just that. But I had to eat my Paella! The servings of the entrees are really manageable. I forgot to mention the drinks! My raspberry lemon drop was so tart and delicious! My friend got the hibiscus drink and she loved it as well.
We walked by this place so many times and we finally went in for dinner, and what an amazing experience. The staff was attentive and pleasant, they were easy to talk to and enjoyed their company. Hospitality, including the owners’, was the best. We ordered a lot of food for leftovers and to try it. For appetizers, we had the flaming feta (Saganaki) and the Spanakopita. They were both amazing. The spanakopita is probably the best we ever had. The dough is home made. We had the lamb kabob, chicken souvlaki, and the Gyros sandwich. And they were great, the food taste fresh, well spices and delicious. Even the Gyro sandwich which was extra (only two of us for dinner), the meat was sliced thick and well cooked. We thought the food was extra special, we ordered more for catering the week after. We had dinner for 15 people, and we ordered catering. Similar things to what we had, but also added the Greek salad, the dolmas, and the amazing falafels. And the amazing pistachio nut pudding. Everyone raved about the food. This is our new favorite Middle Eastern restaurant. Actually, our new favorite restaurant.
We had a wonderful experience. The food and the service was womderful. The staff was attentive and pleasant. We had the lamb kebab, shrimp and crab ravioli, and a kids cheeseburger and fries. We sat outside and listened to a street musician. An overall beautiful meal.
I love dining at Mozaic! They have the best hummus and chicken. They are my go to. They have a large selection of foods, as well as, drinks including non alcoholic beer. The servers and owners are so kind. If you are in Santa Cruz you have to check it out!
Food was somewhat bland and atmosphere felt a little bit depressing with the lights off in the back half of the restaurant. Rice pilaf on my gyro plate was cold and tasted exactly like Mexican rice, not what i was expecting. Moussaka was pretty good
