Monk & Mongoose Coffee Co

The coffee here is delicious! The drinks always taste amazing. The sandwiches from my experience can be hit or miss. They do have an issue with having enough employees as other reviews mention. Both times I've gone so far, I have not been given my drink or sandwich remotely close to together, which is a downside to me, but not the worst thing in the world.

The employees are very sweet the only down side is my drink the last few times I went in they pulled the shots first then steamed the milk. Which makes the drink taste super bad. You're supposed to steam milk first and then pull the shots while steaming your milk so the shots don't taste gross and sit. Right when your shots are done your milk should be done. So you incorporate them together. Once the shots sit for a while, while they steam the milk the drink taste super bad. Hopefully they can improve while I won't be back to this location though cause I don't like wasting money.

It's often crowded because people obviously like the place. Great latte, good service and nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating when the weather allows. Lots of parking at Landmark. Good place for a meeting.

Exceptional espresso beverages and coffee beans.

This joint is right near my office, so I'm in there a couple times per week. They have solid coffee, and the staff is really lovely (Seriously, they are the sweetest people.) It can be very busy though so you may have to wait more than an American minute (16 seconds before outrage begins.) The decor is bland like every other cafe/brewery/gastropub/hamper designed in the last two decades. And I wish that they had vegan pastries, but I realize that it is in the tech center where Soullessness is just an app that the local human machines run so... And of course, they have the Starbucks tax for people who were allergic to dairy, but we need to accept that we're not going to win that one. The tyranny of the majority. Plato even predicted unfair coffee shop taxes/business greed. Whatever.

Great selection, tasty drinks. Pastries are fine. My only complaint is they are almost always busy but seem to only have 2, rarely 3, baristas and so it just moves slow. Great customer service, just often not the speediest
