The service was great. Food was bad. The steak was rubbery I chewed it for a while and I couldn't swallow it. The enchilada sauce tasted like a canned sauce.
Hostess was not friendly at all. Told us the wait would be 10 minutes due to staff shortage. She never bothered to check back with us during our 20 minute plus wait. She was too busy wiping down menus to interact with customers or to assist the servers. She could have helped the servers out by refilling drinks, etc. Worse part is there are no benches or chairs for customers to sit while waiting. Customers got tired of waiting and left. Miguel was excellent and tried his best to wait on us and numerous other tables. Chicken tortilla soup was luke warm. Our chicken dishes were tasty. However, If it wasn’t for Miguel our dining experience would have been a total fail. It had been 6 months or more since we have dined here due to staff shortages and it will probably be that long or longer before we try On the Border again.
Celeste is a keeper. Kind and accommodating. Thank you!
Needs upgrades and food was bland
Walked into the restaurant, waited 5 minutes at the host stand, no staff anywhere. Sat ourselves at the bar, ignored by the only staff I saw for 15 minutes. I used to work for OTB several years ago and this is just rough to see. Nonexsistant service and clearly incompetent staff.
I loved the food it was fresh and they can customize too and have vegetarian options too.
Chris was our server first day Great guy. Super nice energetic and was always coming to the table to refill and sew if we were enjoying highly recommend!
Great service great experience. Quality food great atmosphere for lunch. Was an amazing time.
