Mi Tenampa Mexican Restaurant

Stopped in on our way to Arkansas. They had very little staff due to call offs.. the few that were there worked together and served everyone amazing food with smiles on their faces. Wish I didn't live so far away but if we ever pass through again we will definitely stop back in. ✌

This place is suppose to be known for their tamales and I’ve honestly had better ones out of the Meijer deli. The tamales were just awful, the salsa seemed watered down to save money on ingredients perhaps and they give you the smallest portion of chips I’ve ever seen. Our server was a 70-75 woman whom couldn’t hear and got our orders incorrect as well smh I don’t write many reviews, but if I can save just one person from wasting their hard earned money at this terrible restaurant then I’ve done my job.

The "salsa" is more like taco sauce. They gave me just a small amount of chips, and they weren't warm. (the chips you see in the picture is all I got) The unsweet tea was good. I ordered the lunch tacos with ground beef ($8.99), they were ok, but not great. First time there, doubt I'll go back, I was out in the area checking out other shopping.

First time I've tried this restaurant. We ordered carne asada and the whole order was wrong the first time. The second time is what we ordered. It had no flavor at all. Our server was apologetic but I will not return here again I eat a lot of Mexican restaurants but this was the worst food ever.

This place has amazing authentic food and amazing customer service. They treat everyone like they're a part of the family. If you're ever in the area, definitely check it out.

We love this place! We are always welcomed with a smile and treated like gold. We gladly drive an hour for MI Tenampa.
