served my takeout order to me with OLD COLD CHICKEN AND RICE TERRIBLE PLACE
Came by at 2:20 pm on Saturday. I was waiting by the entrance for more than 5 minutes to have a female server showing me that I needed to wait while she was chatting with her coworker. Only one server was working. He approached us between delivering the food to tell us that they only accepted to go orders while a few tables were available. We felt very unwelcome. With everything that was going on there, I felt uncomfortable even to place to go order. We are not coming back.
This place can easily be a 5 star, but while i was eating there was a cockroach that was on the table and wall. Table near the desert prep area. When i mentioned it to the staff they did nothing.
Max's chicken is not my favorite as it's dry and I like jollibee instead, moist, crispy and hot. The service was very poor in El Camino but not in Gellert, Daly City.
There are limited options for vegetarians but the staff was super friendly and took special requests to exclude meat and meat sauces. Tried their sizzling tofu and pancit bihon with a side of veggies. Food quality was great and portion sizes were more than sufficient for two.
Just got back from the Philippines, my sons and his daughter craving for something to eat, well, craving for something I had…never fails… close to authentic Philippine cuisine
2nd review, deleted 1st but they need to know. Party of 6 arrived noon last Sunday, place opens 1130am. Fried chicken was not freshly prepared nor the crispy Pata. Both were dry & brittle. Pancit bijon was tasty but 1 shrimp per order. We were not all Filipinos may be that's why food was bad. We didn't complain, our bad. We wanted traditional ube instead of vanilla ice cream in halo halo .They are bad. The food was good before but not anymore.
Super rude service, I will never come here again!!
