Maison Kintaro

I went here for a casually lunch. The space inside was not large, but it was cozy for hangout with friends. The food was nice. I ordered grilled rice ball, onsen tamago and vegetable curry. Grilled rice ball was good, the smell and flavor of salmon inside is great. Special shoutout to onsen tamago cuz it's absolutely perfect. The texture and flavor of poached egg with chili powder and japanese soy sauce was matched perfectly. Vegetable curry was on its average, but the vegetable tempura was good and fried crisply.

Quite pricey for very simple food. Tasted fine but there are other Japanese places with the same or better quality with more reasonable prices

Friendly service and good donburi options. I think there’s a lot of potential for authenticity especially with the fresh seafood, but the sushi rice was not prepared properly - too much vinegar and too warm, that it overpowered and altered the overall taste.

Suuuuchhh a sweet little place! Beautiful ambiance with cozy lighting and tasteful decor. A nice intimate spot for a date or night out with girlfriends when you want to talk about something slightly serious. The food was absolutely fabulous!! And very affordable for the area. Special highlights included the onsen tamago, beef+kabocha soup, and the cabbage steak. The vegetable pouch was nothing special and would give it a pass next time especially because it included lotus which wasn't mentioned in the description.

Food is top notch quality, clean ambiance and superb service. Great spot for a nice home style Japanese cuisine.
