Admittedly a bit pricey - hence the 4 stars, but likely you won't find much cheaper anywhere either. If you're wanting a lobster roll being in landlocked CO, this plane is pretty good. Service was quite fast food the Lobster, not sure if fried stuff is slower.
My bf and I have ordered lobster rolls from here a few times , they're never skimpy on lobster meat ! It comes bagged up and buttery so your roll doesn't get soggy ! My boyfriend and I will happily continue to order , it's our new guilty pleasure . My boyfriend also really liked the clam chowder !!
Absolutely excellent lobster rolls, some of the best you will find in the country. Coleslaw is forgettable and so are most of the other dishes, but order the Trio and be more than satisfied.
Amazing service and delicious food. Free chowder for chowder day!!
Amazing service and great food. Felt so homey and inviting. If you are in the boulder area I would definitely recommend trying The Maine Shack out!!
The Maine Shack is a great spot to grab a hot or cold lobster roll. I would also recommend the Haddock Sandwich and chips too. It had a light, crispy batter, and the fish was so delicious. Tasted almost fresh from the ocean. I would know since I'm a transplant from the East Coast. The lobster roll was heavenly. Definitely come check this place out!
I’ve been here a dozen times and while they are fairly expensive, this is Denver and not New England so I get it. The north shore beef sandwiches there have always been really good, however, we ordered online for pickup and it was a completely different sandwich than what we would have eating there. The meat is supposed to be “rare” but it was definitely overdone with a greyish brown color and super chewy, like it had been made several days ago and was just sitting under a warming light. If I hadn’t drove home to eat it I definitely would’ve returned that pathetic attempt at a NSRB, you guys should be ashamed to serve something so bad. Edit: I wanted to to see if it was just a fluke, but unfortunately no, their sandwiches are just worst than Arby’s now. Such a shame.
