Maggie's Cafe

Cool place, we had bacon and eggs and a delicious side of potatoes. Also the chile relleno omelette which was awesome, not crazy about the beans but the rest was delicious. Good coffee too! Good place for a quick breakfast! Parking: Plenty of parking at least around 9:30 am.

Was wanting something different than the standard chain breakfast spots in San Diego and this place hit the nail on the head. First time here and was not disappointed. Service was great all around from the hostess, to the waiters, bussers, all around. And there was no wait! Overall, the place has a really welcoming vibe which is something I haven’t encountered and appreciated. Plenty of space inside as well. Really diverse menu; looking forward to returning and trying more of their items. Alcohol menu is solid, from bloody Mary’s to mimosa flights to micheladas even. Had the chicken fried steak and it was definitely one of the better ones I’ve had in San Diego. Look forward to returning and bringing more people with me to have a taste of this hidden gem!

The french toast was so much better then I could imagine.

Good breakfast, excellent service

I have been going here for years. The service and people are so great the food is good and they always have fun drinks. They also have a few gluten free option which is really nice for someone with a gluten intolerance. Also, it's a great place for kids. My favorite dish we got this last time was the carne asada tacos. Their carne asada was surprisingly flavorful.
