Slow Wednesday night, two other tables -- we were the third. No service after 10 minutes. Multiple staff walking around, conversing, etc. Walked out.
Have been going here for years and always look forward to returning. However, the last time we went the food was not very good, just so so. We decided to give it another try tonight. The rice balls were so mushy, the mushroom risotto had no flavor, and they brought spinach crepes instead of the seafood crepes my husband ordered. The server blamed it on the chef. Not a cool move. By the time the seafood crepes came out we were ready to leave. Sorry Tim but we won't be back.
We’ve eaten here once and the food was decent but the service was slow. Decided to go back and give them another try. We literally sat for TWENTY MINUTES with no wait staff as much as even acknowledging our presence. The hostesses walked around looking for open tables and never noticed we hadn’t been helped. The 2 waitstaff in the areas repeatedly passed us and neither of them acknowledged us or noticed we hadn’t been helped. TWENTY MINUTES! We finally just got up and left. No one in the entire place ever spoke a word to us other than the hostess saying “follow me” when we walked in. This place has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Won’t be back. Management either is clueless or awful because the whole place needs retrained in customer service.
Service was on or above par, but majority of food was mediocre at best, risotto was mush and marsala overly sweet
Kid-friendliness: There is a children's menu. They also offered crayons and paper to color.
Make sure you get a table in the smaller dining room to the right of the bar, as the main dining room is VERY noisey!!! There is no noise abatement in the main dining room. We were celebrating a birthday dinner with 6 people initially in the main room and were lucky enough to get the small round table in the side dining room. Once moved, our experience became intimate and fabulous with our wonderful server, Megan! I had the Aegean pasta, which is full of flavor. Large enough to be shared. Pear walnut salad is excellent with blue cheese crumbles. My friends had the chicken piccata. Mahi piccata & veal marsala & they thought it was good and a good value. All of us are excellent cooks. Portions are very generous! Wine prices are fair.
Staff is nice but spread thin. Service was a bit slow. Food isn't as great as maggianos nor authentic like some other local restaurants I've tried. I wouldn't exactly go there if I found another good option close by.
We had carryout. The spaghetti with meat sauce was hot, delicious. and plentiful. Their focaccia bread is moist ,waiting to be topped off with the chopped olive spread. Dessert is a treat, lots of Choices. EdneWe chose the carrot cakes and were delighted. Great Wed night dinner!
