Found a great spot to bring your pups and enjoy happy hour on a patio in Cherry Creek. The food, the service (Bobby was great), the ambiance and of course catching up with my lovely friend . I booked a table thru Open Table and entered (in the special requests, same day) that I would like a table for 2 on their patio and bringing 2 puppies and they had 4 custom cookie bones and a large bowl of water waiting for me. We tried most of the apps on their happy hour and of course had to try their flaming Neapolitan ice cream alaska cream pie. Very inviting to the puppies and their happy hour is quite nice (3-5pm). Also good people watching. It used to be Departure in the base of the Halcyon hotel so the patio feels less patio like (more integrated with the inside and spacious). Very dog friendly.’

Maybe the worst fried chicken I've ever had outside of fast food. Dry. Corn bread muffin that came with it was more cakey than mealy. The fries were delicious. The steak frites were great! Great service. Sat in a bucket seat ratan furniture.

This is one of the three restaurants in the Halcyon Hotel in North Cherry Creek, billed as a neighborhood bistro and bar. It is on the first floor of the hotel and includes a large dining room, a central bar, quite a bit of seating on the bar side, and a private dining room/meeting room. We sat in the dining room on a previous visit, but were seated on the bar side this time. The bar seating includes a huge sofa against the back wall instead of the usual banquette. My handicapped friend sat in the corner of the sofa and pronounced it the most comfortable restaurant seating ever. The space is both elegant and comfortable with lots of wood and all sorts of nice seating. There's also a large outdoor patio. I ordered the crispy salmon which came with rings of delicata squash, a celery root purée, small chunks of apple, and a brown butter sauce. Every item was perfectly cooked and the combination of flavors was marvelous. The dish was absolutely delicious. I did find it very difficult to scrape the purée out of a rounded dish with only a knife and fork, though. My friend ordered the "proper" turkey club. The sandwich was huge and the ingredients were first-rate. He also requested a "side" Caesar salad. The salad was enormous and we both shared it which was great because it went perfectly with my salmon dish. The restaurant was not at all busy, but the kitchen remained as slow as on our previous visit several years ago. The waiter annoyed me by completely disappearing after serving our food. I would have liked a refill on my Arnold Palmer and a spoon to deal with that pesky purée, but it was not to be. He did handle the check promptly once we were finished. The food here is excellent and the space is gorgeous. Just don't expect a quick meal or attentive service. Valet parking is available. Parking: The hotel offers valet parking.

Gorgeous little gem in the heart of Cherry Creek. It may appear for only for the glamorous from a glance, but in truth it's another "Cheers" where bartenders like Rick will remember your name all night and when you come back weeks later. He's the exact combination a hotel bar needs: a master in the craft of preparing & serving libations and a good, kind, smart and funny gentleman. Why is this the best equation for a hotel bar? Because people on the road sometimes just want home. Rick makes you feel at home as soon as you sit down, and it's genuine. And the rest of the staff is great too! I love this place - it's like home.

Love this place for every occasion - brunch, work meals, dates. Drinks are great, food is pretty good, great music playing with a live DJ. Being newer to the city, I like to try new places more than repeating visits but I've gone back to this place 2 or 3 times, and plan to come back again really soon. Easily one of my favorite places to eat in the city. Parking: Give yourself a little time to find parking so you're not late for your reservations. Not sure if the place next to it allows for valet parking if you're eating at Local Jones, but worth a try!

I have always had an enjoyable experience here with friends. Excellent, fast and friendly service and delicious food!
