Went there two weeks ago and got extremely disappointed. We had to beg our server to pay attention! She was absent most of the time, didn't care to refill water, didn't care to ask if we wanted more food or drinks - we ordered appetizers and kept the menus. She did not want to be there! We could have easily doubled our bill but that attitude was ridiculous. I worked in service for years and would have never treat my guests with such disrespect. Will not be back. Oysters were good though.
Great food and service. server was amazing thanks bryan.
Food was cold and very small portions.
The Tuna was in a bowl of broth, tofu and other green items. We are used to a Tuna Steak. The Scallops were not done, t hash was good, the King Cake Beignets were good but no one warned us of t baby inside, NOLA does not include babies in Beignets. My husband was ill that night after t Tuna Dish. Be careful what you order and ask questions. Order something that is a familiar dish. The Oysters were ok, possibly farm raised, would not recommend. Order 1 as a taste. Nice restaurant but not for us Parking: Decent parking
Great food. Fast friendly service. They don't rush you out the door at all. Qualify seafood
Great place to grab a quick bite. Try the surf and turf!
This was my first visit to Jax. I promise it will not be my last. A great group of people to spend an evening with; Crystal and Rose thank you for going out of your way and doing everything that you did. The food was amazing, and the service was impeccable!
Tonight I felt like treating myself to oysters. Jax is my go-to, though this was my first visit to this location. It was super clean, friendly, classy, and the happy hour menu was perfect. They have a ton of oyster selections. I recommend the Naked Cowvoy, East coast wild (not on happy hour, but so worth it) as well as the 1/4 peel and eat shrimp, and the happy hour oysters were good, too (forget their names). The bartenders were cool. Ryan and Ashley. The hostesses are beautiful and greet with a smile. I sat at the bar and had a great time. Highly recommend. Parking: Parking is so easy and free. The area is clean and safe.
Staff was friendly even while busy. I was here NYE '23 around 5:30P, so they got quite busy in the duration of my time there. I sat at the bar, as I had no reservation - no problem. I had a food and matched wine course for $125 and it was good. The only thing that was not so good was the Chocolate Cake made with gluten-free flour that was so dry as to barely be able to choke it down. I'm not a big fan of gluten-free, and this is an example of why.
