Original Review: This unassuming food truck in a food trailer park has turned into one of my favorite spots... Las Abuelas! I got: 〰️ De Lujo sandwich: crispy pollo, chipotle mayo, pickled cabbage slaw, avocado, cotija, & roasted Serrano crema. 〰️ Bandera Tots: Tots, Chipotle mayo, cotija, jalapeño crema, tajín 〰️ Camote Fries: Sweet potato fries, Mexican coke glaze, chipotle mayo, cotija, & toasted pumpkin seeds Their food is delicious and FRESH!! Reminder: They’re open Tues - Sat 11:30am-2pm/5:30pm-8pm & closed Sun & Mon.

WOW, what a great chicken sandwich. I had the Espicy and my wife had the De Lujo and both were fantastic. Can't say enough great things about these chicken sandwiches

The sandwiches at "Las Abuelas" are a taste of nostalgia, reminiscent of homemade creations from grandma's kitchen. Fresh ingredients and unique flavor combinations set them apart, and the cozy ambiance makes it feel like a home away from home.

The food is good, but expensive. The food trucks in this town charge as much as sit down restaurants and this is no exception. BUT, for the same price, you can go to a restaurant and get a chicken sandwich on par, if not better, at The Little Darlin, for less and you are in a real pub. Stop charging like you have to pay brick and mortar rent and you might do more business.

We ordered the espicy and the el Martin sandwiches. Both were very good. That said, the espicy was better than "good". It was amazing. The spicy Chipotle mayo and pickled slaw hit all the right notes for us. Highly recommended. The guy that operated the food truck was nice to deal with. Service was pretty quick. The sandwiches are not the same price as a Popeyes or a Chick-fil-A, but this isn't in the same category as those places.

Chicken was super dry no seasoning like why does it have 5 stars plus I paid $26 for 2 sandwiches no taste

Best chicken sandwich in South Austin hands-down. Great customer service very fast option for food. Go here for anything chicken related and forget the rest.
