La Segunda Central Bakery

Found this place via google maps while staying in downtown tampa. It’s about a 10 min walk from the trolley stop. Quality of the items we received were excellent and the pastries especially were well done. It is worth noting that ordering was a bit chaotic, and not all bakery items are labeled. Most employees making lunch items were hustling. The staff manning the bakery moved at a much (much) slower pace. It was busy when we went, and we waited about 15 min after ordering for our bakery items to be packaged (we waited 7-10min to order)

Best bakery I’ve been to Tampa so far! Delicious variety of breads, cakes and breakfast sandwiches 100% recommend to come here small shop but big in flavor! You can’t miss this place if you ever come to Tampa this is a must go!

Wow! Best bakery I've been to in awhile. Coffee with milk is 6. Coffee black is 3. Just saying. Cuban bread is fantastic. Parking: It's on a one way street. Park either right out front or on the side street.

Worst cappuccino I've ever had. Unsure if the coffee beans they use is low quality or if they just don't know how to make a proper cappuccino. The avocado toast was delicious and other baked goods looked good, thus the 3 star review, but wouldn't purchase any coffee beverages from them again.

Picked up 2 Cuban breads for some friends in Indiana. Great bakery!!
