Gaspars has always been a go to place for us to get a quick lunch on a nice day. We love the patio bar.
3 of 4 food orders had mistakes. Service was solid but was just ok for $40/person.
First time last night. Won't be my last.
It smells very dank at the outside bar (really needs a deep clean) ashtrays everywhere, they got my drink wrong, charged $7.20 for a happy hour drink and my CC showed they charged our card before we cashed out for our first drinks then gave us a check for our total drinks at the end. A actually have no idea what we really just paid. It's ok in a pinch for a cocktail I guess. We didn't try any food. I noticed some of the good reviews are actually for Gaspar's Grotto which is a different bar, so make sure you know where you're at.
It's a huge place. It has 3 bars and two outdoor areas. The decor is interesting. The bathrooms are clean. The service is good. From the bartenders to the chefs. It also has a full liquor store on site. They specialize in burboun, I think? Mike makes a mean old fashioned. Their fries are perfectly crispy, the Cubans are fresh, the quesadillas are messy good, the wings are tasty, and the salads are generous. There is ample parking in front or in the back. Pool tables and darts are some of the games offered here. I think there is a shuffle board? You would have to go to find out. :)
