I can pay $5 for a cup of ordinary coffee anywhere. For a decade, this use to be one of my favorite cafes in San Francisco. But everytime I come here now the snotty attitude from the staff makes the experience feel nasty. The contemptuous attitude they have never would of been acceptable in any San Francisco Reasturant a decade ago. I’ll get my coffee elsewhere now. Thanks for the memories
This place should accept cash. was refuse service because they don t have change. Not everybody pay with credit card.
Very nice place. Things on the menu look delicious. They have an excellent bakery and very tasty Egg frittata. Add a hot nice coffee to that and you can spend the entire day doing whatever you need. It gets busy for moments but there's always a place inside or outside. Parking: Streets are full, specially on weekends and when people put stands over the road to sell things (idk if that happens every weekend). There are bike parking racks on the other side of the street. It'll be safe for the time you're enjoying your food and coffee ☕
Food is great. Good vibe. But they serve dune-in hot food on takeout paper containers that soak up the egg yolk and feel really gross like eating part of the paper. Not to mention generating tons of garbage. Plus flimsy plastic utensils! I would have given them 5 stars if they use real plates and real metal utensils.
Great place to hang or get to go and sit on the green across the street if weather is playin ball. Get a croissant and heat it up!
This is the perfect neighborhood coffee shop. Quality is high and the service is friendly. It's a great place to fuel up and bask in the Hayes vibe.
Takes some time coz very crowded, but good coffee so worth it!
Wow! The Crookie is a fantastic French/American relationship! I really recommend trying this masterpiece!
