Took my mom here on a Tuesday afternoon after making a quick stop at LensCrafters and we had so much fun seeing the little train being out our orders. We were the only ones in at the moment so the vibes were just right. Staff were friendly and the food was really tasty and inexpensive! Recommend making a stop here.
Worst Ramen that I tasted in my life.
Cool experience. The kids loved the food train.
It's improved a lot since opening. They definitely have much better employees who are pleasant and do their best to be attentive. It's very convenient to be able to order at your table via their website. There is no need to download an app. You can continue or stop ordering at any time during your visit. They don't put out much more sushi on the conveyor belt than the occupancy calls for. But if you're squeamish, just order a fresh sushi set from the kitchen. I also would suggest ordering hot food this way unless you watched them place it on the belt. There's no way it's still good after 7 trips around the room. Another good thing is that you don't HAVE to use the website. The humans on hand can take your order. I'm glad they have music now, so that it's not such a sterile environment. The music is pretty current without getting too ratchet. So, it's still family-friendly... for NYC. I saw kids coming in, and they really like the food carousel. I think that the adults were more excited about the monorail train that brings our your kitchen order while playing a bop. (Check out my videos). It would be nice if they had a wine & beer license. The server I spoke to didn't know whether you could BYOB. Look into it. Just keep it cute around the kids.
What the point of the revolver if you still need a waitress to order your food? No food is placed on the revolver. The train bringing food is just a torture device for the starving.
