Kirin is an excellent place to eat, great food and appetizers. I never have liked any kind of kimchi, I really like it here, very fresh and doesn’t taste like an old nasty sock… ( like most kimchi does). Good service and quaint little place!! This will be a regular stop!!!
It was super good! We got the Xiao long bao soup dumplings, the kaarage ramen, miso ramen, spicy tempura ramen, peach green tea, and mango green tea! It was all very good
This place is a real life lo-fi haven. Busy enough to be lively but not overwhelming. Only had the pork buns and edamame but it was on par. Cosy little place perfect for quick bite or larger dinner. Love the comforting music. Five stars all round.
The appetizers stole the show for us. Kaarage is MASSIVE. We got a large portion and it could have easily feed 8 people. The shrimp tempura roll and spicy tuna roll are fantastic. The staff are great.
Great food, great service, have already recommended this place to others!!
A wonderful little neighborhood ramen place conveniently located in Clintoville off High Street. Great Tan Tan Men and Karaage Ramen. My uncle loves the Shio Ramen -- says it's the best chicken soup! I also love that I can get soup dumplings and pork buns here! Typically, it's not too busy, especially at lunch. Fast and friendly service. Nice selection of liquors and sake for dinner. Good place for a more casual and relaxed meal with friends or loved ones.
It was expensive, but good food. I didn't like my Tom Yum noodle dish but absolutely loved the one my friend got, and our sushi was amazing! Waitress never checked back with us.
AJO ramen with one egg additional added. Excellent customer service and it felt welcoming.
Legitimately good sushi! Can't really fault anything I had. I will say I've never had spinach in a veggie roll but it was honestly a welcome addition.
The food was excellent, but the service style was different than any other sushi restaurant I have ever been to. While it is partially our fault for not informing the staff that one of the members of our party had a shellfish allergy, we each separately ordered our sushi rolls so we did not expect the sushi chef to place all of our orders on the same plate. Our guest with an allergy tried his best to avoid any sushi that came into contact with the rolls that included shellfish (which also meant he didn't get to eat a good bit of the food he was paying for), but he still ended up having an allergic reaction. So, just a heads up to anyone coming in with a group, make sure you request to have your rolls placed on separate plates if you don't plan on sharing. Otherwise, the food was excellent and I'm sure I will find my way back in in the future!
