We have been coming to Jimmy Kelly’s for the past 15 years (multiple times a year) and this is the first time I have left very disappointed. Many of their famous menu items are now off the menu (prawns, onion rings, normal house side, just to name a few). Everything is now ridiculously overpriced, $14 for a baked potato, $15 for a side salad. The portions have not changed but the prices have tripled. Unfortunately, as we left there tonight we have decided to never return because of the poor service (we never got our appetizer, we learned that our waiter once got drunk off of box wine (not the story I wanted to over hear while trying to have a romantic dinner), and the ridiculously over priced bill we had (over $200 for two people, one salad, two baked potatoes, and two steaks). We will forever miss the Old Jimmy Kelly’s that had once been.
If you ever in Nashville go to Jimmy Kelly's excellent restaurant great food excellent service
Loved this place! It has a cozy and warm ambiance for special occasions. The food was delicious and the service was great! Our favorites were the lobster fritters and the bone in filet Mignon! Would definitely go back
Jimmy Kelly's is our pre concert dinner option once each year and usually during the holidays. Steaks and seafood are always spot on and the service is always great! They've added an in-house desert chef since our last visit and the Rasberry Chocolate cake was fabulous! Restaurants don't stay in business 88+ years if they are not the best!
Not the same place it was. Not going back.
We went For Valentine's Day and it was truly a GREAT experience!! Our server was Karla and she was awesome!!!! The food was delicious and the service was great!! We will definitely come back and ask for her again! Parking: The complementary parking was great.
We celebrated an early Valentine’s Day & 6-year anniversary at Jimmy Kelly’s and Karla made our experience so memorable. We started with a caesar salad which could use a little more flavor in the dressing and more cheese. I had the crab stuffed sea bass, it was SOOOOO GOOD and he had the strip steak cooked medium with garlic butter which was amazing! We shared a baked potato with all the fixings. Over all it was a lovely, cozy experience and Karla was very attentive and friendly! Prices are HIGH! $150 a person with an entree each, one side to share, salad as started with 3/$13 glass of wine and 1 mule.
Been eating here for more than twenty years and it is nothing like it was in the past. Menu is less than half of previous choices. Quality has been downgraded and prices have doubled. Have bought gift cards for years and that was changed too. We will use the last of our gift cards and then we are done with Jimmy Kelly's. Sad that the new ownership is not keeping with the long standing tradition that was great for many years.
My $85 Steak was cooked mid-well instead of mid-rare so I was unable to eat w/ my daughter for our celebration...
