Heather our waitress was absolutely Amazing and over the top with excellent service! My husband and I have never in all our days of eating out had a more complete and enjoyable experience from Heather! Highly recommended for Heather as your waitress. I know when we come back will always ask to have her serve us if she is available! Thank you J Alexander for an excellent hire! Food as always-Excellent
After a less-than-stellar recent experience, I didn't think we would ever go back here, but we decided to give them another chance, and I'm SO GLAD we did. Everything was perfectly delicious! Across our table, we had a bit of a sampling of the restaurant's offers, from the Maui Steak, the New York Strip, the Filet, and the Mahi special. The Maui Steak was amazing, the New York Strip was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. And don't get me started on the desserts! Ok, too late... the Carrot Cake, Cheesecake, and Key Lime pie were all excellent. And the chocolate cake with ice cream took decadence to the next level! So much wonderful food and excellent service! This restaurant has lived up to its reputation, and I would highly recommend it!

Caid was absolutely phenomenal ! Made the best recommendations tonight. Super friendly and made us laugh. Very enjoyable experience… will be back for sure and definitely requesting Caid as our server
Great experience, made reservations online a week prior. They text me a reminder and check to see if I wanted to keep my reservation. Get there the landscape is beautiful. Inside nice and clean. Not too cool or too warm. I was extremely comfortable! Service was amazing. Our waiter was so funny and knowledgeable. Nathan went over and beyond with the customer service. He was on it with my drinks and I’m a big girl, and he was quick on his feet. They were so busy but it felt as if we were his only table. T.J. the manager came over and asked how was our dining experience. Boy T.J. took our experience to another level. He was cracking jokes with us, even including our neighbors from the next both in on it lol for it to be an upscale restaurant, the environment was relax and comfortable. Always a pleasure coming to this location. Amazing service Nathan and T.J. Oh and T.J. Walked a lady out and open our doors lol I love this place!
I remember this place used to be so good but when I had their food recently I thought it was overly salted. It took 2.25 hours to eat dinner because the waiter took FOREVER (e.g. taking orders, bringing drinks, minor errors, bringing a check). Parking: Next to Florida orthopedics but lots of spots Wheelchair accessibility: Only 1 ramp to the second floor area near the Kitchen. servers do not make sure the walking area is clear when seating guests.
Recently visited Jay Alexander’s restaurant on Saturday, February 24. The food was excellent and so was our waiter CAID when we revisit we will definitely request for his service again he was awesome.
Ordered a steak burger to go, cooked medium. The burger was med-well at best, and probably should be rated well done. Not the tiniest hint of pink anywhere. A bit chewy. I've had burgers from here before that were properly cooked, so I'll try again. And the grill master was cooking 8-10 orders of all types at once (beef, fish, chicken), so maybe at peak times they need additional help at that station? Then again, I imagine it's hard to blend two grill master's style and timing unless you have separate grills. My online order did not get sent to the restaurant. So they had to start from scratch when I arrived during a busy lunch rush. Staff recommended calling-in future orders rather than using the web site. That's especially critical because their outstanding carrot cake is not listed as a menu item online. So...Maybe a one-time glitch in burger prep, but perhaps a rework of the web site is in order. The manager agreed to comp a carrot cake slice (it was delicious), but also admitted to not having used their web site (which offered pickup times only of ASAP or several hours in the future) and she instead recommended calling in orders. How do you know what end users are experiencing if you don't try it out periodically? Either have a functioning online order system or skip it and take only phone orders.
