The best coffee shop in Indianapolis. So much care and focus into every drink. Consistent - great people! Going there is one of the highlights of my week!

Pro: Great coffee and service! Nice atmosphere. Made my 2 strikeouts on food order right (thank you!) Cons: The breakfast food menu was not available (strike 1 were muffins). Opted for butter croissant, and it was also not available (strike 2). I am disappointed as I searched for this shop and you were my 1st choice in a new city. Saver: I opted for the cookie and it was excellent. The staff was awesome and worked hard to make things right. I know they are not in control of food availability so no knock on them!

Specialty lattes served to a perfect drinking temperature, flavorful but not too sweet. They also sell bagged coffee, hats, shirts, and other merch. Very cozy and personable atmosphere. Vegetarian options: It’s a coffee shop, I believe the only meat that would be served are in their breakfast sandwiches.

So if you prefer the a local coffee joint over the national brands on every corner, this is what you are looking for! Coffee is delightful, breakfast sandwich is delish, pastries look yummy (though I have not partaken... yet!), the seating is comfortable, the place is clean and the employees are super pleasant. Great for a business meeting or some computer time away from the home office. Illume is my new go-to...

The baristas at Illumine were very helpful in recommending a good coffee for cold brew and even though it wasn't displayed in the cafe, they went to the back, ground, and packaged it for me. They were extremely helpful. I ran out of the coffee quickly because it is so good and ordered that same coffee online this week and requested it ground for cold brew. It was packaged and sent out within a hour of ordering it. It was delivered quickly and they wrote a personalized note inside. They have amazing customer service and great coffee. 10/10

Always love coming in here! As a weird coffee person I'm ecstatic good quality coffee exists in Nora, now. I keep getting their Ethiopian beans. Wish they were open Sunday

Handmade syrups, in house roasted coffee, and handmade muffins. Highly recommend.
