H-yard gourmet deli

Poor customer service. Don't buy any non-food items from this deli. The female cashier gave me a charger that I thought was for my phone. I told her Type-C charger. I probably shouldn't have bought it in the first place because the box doesn't even say what kind of charger it is. Nevertheless, I took the chance, bought it and opened the box, and it was the wrong charger. I attempted to return the item and the cashier refused to give me back my money. She literally ignored me afterwards. Very unprofessional, poor customer service. The female staff/cashier does not value making customers happy. I just left the charger on the counter because I have no use for it. I will have to battle it out with my bank now but I'm definitely getting my money back, IDGAF. But if you buy a non-food item, open it and realize it's not what you need, you WILL NOT GET A REFUND. I'm warning anyone of you that wants to make a purchase there. So if you buy anything, it's at your own RISK!

best deli in nyc. their vegan sandwiches are amazing. i come get food from here every single shift and i have yet to find a single other deli with such amazing sandwiches at all, let alone such good quality vegan sandwiches. ernesto is the best we love him! he remembers my order every time. everyone who works here is so amazing and sweet and helpful. everyone should come get sandwiches here if they want actually good lunch. if someone asked me what my death row meal would be i would say “vegan burger with lettuce onion spinach avocado and chipotle mayo and extra jalapeño made by ernesto from h yard gourmet deli”.

This deli has just about anything you could want. We had deli sandwiches, the chicken quesadilla and a smoothie. You can get breakfast, lunch and dinner, medicine, drinks and snacks, fresh fruit and veggies. The gentlemen fixing sandwiches behind the counter was busy making orders, but very friendly and courteous. The young woman behind the counter was equally friendly and helpful. Great spot, we’ll be visiting again.

Food was delicious! Only issue was roof leaking in middle of aisle. Easy fix.

Great Chopped cheese sandwich.

They went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergies. They even remembered the next time I came in, asking if I was alright after breakfast. Incredibly thoughtful and quick service. I highly recommend them!

RUDE female cashier. They charge way above the tax rate for card transactions and they incompetent employees. Don't waste your time or money here.
