Hugo's Cellar

So disappointed after many years of great meals here. This trip was horrible. Reservations for 7:30, text me three times to confirm, but had to wait 45 minutes before finally seated. Waiters were less than attentive. Meals were so/so nothing worth praising. No effort made by the staff to make it a dining experience. When I spend $500 for three people to eat dinner it needs to be much better than this. Not sure if I’ll ever try it again.

Fabulous meal at this classic landmark. This is one of those special places that takes you back to a different time. Definitely prohibition speakeasy feel. They make a great salad for you at the table. Steak was great. Would go again.
