I’ve come here on more than one occasion just to eat their Beef Brisket Hot Pot (a Stone Pot Casserole with unctuous pieces of beef tendon and white daikon) steeped into its savory melange. The Roast Duck, is highly exceptionally delicious too. Very greasy. Totally fattening. And the crisp skin just too much to handle in one sitting. Of course on the other hand it can be very delightful as a soloist enjoying entree after entree, but not everyone can leave without thinking about how delicious it really was … to begin with? Plus, there is really no other place in the world that serves up this particular dish except maybe in Hong Kong. Maybe Yokohama too. But even rarer instances anywhere found in places like Chinatown in San Francisco! It’s been awhile, but Love this part of Chinatown because of the shops situated along this narrower winding street and it’s historically fantastic restaurants. Superb places to eat and lots of quaint touristy shops, manned year round by people who are always really friendly and kind. Vegetarian options: Vegetable dishes or noodle options Kid-friendliness: High hairs for children at the table side
The best old school spot in Chinatown. Avoid the lines at Wo Hop and get the same food here, if not better.
My favorite Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. Good food and price. Monday thru Friday lunch special for $8.25 with soup and white rice.
Really good food!!!! Best we had in New York
Great food and service. I will go back. Cash only.
Always go there every Chinese new year with Chinese martial arts instructors as well as other Chinese speaking people, and one of only two places I would ever go to. Food is amazing, always fresh and good tasting. Service is always professional Atmosphere is very down to earth and friendly. A complete gem and something I always look forward to when visiting my Asian friends.
