HEW Parlor & Chophouse

I made a dinner reservation about 3-weeks ago for Feb 14, and informed the restaurant that I was bringing a friend to celebrate her birthday, not Valentines. I was told that would be noted on my reservation. On Tuesday Feb 13 I called to confirm the reservation, and spoke with Robin. I again reminded her of the birthday and was told they would provide a champagne toast for my friend and I to celebrate her birthday. While our meal was delicious , our server DID NOTHING to acknowledge the birthday we were there to celebrate. However, another server brought champagne to the couple sitting at the next table to celebrate their anniversary. Fine dining is not just about the meal, it’s about the dining experience and my experience at HEW last night was hugely disappointing.

We don't mind paying a premium for good food. This was fair, expensive, and not a lot of it.

The food was good, the best Chocolate cake ever, and the server was really nice and welcoming.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at this hotel as we have friends in the area. One morning, we were still tired from traveling so we decided to just have breakfast in the hotel vs going downtown. Having said that, we want to give a big shout out to our server, Emily! Breakfast is not the most joyous time in the morning but Emily brought her fantastic attitude and smile and just made our breakfast time so enjoyable! She is clearly an asset! And, btw, our breakfast was high quality and suburb as well!

We enjoyed cocktails at the indoor bar and dinner at HEW restaurant. Amy, our server was excellent in every way and I highly recommend you ask for her. The food is uniquely delicious and the atmosphere is elegant and relaxing.

Had a wonderful Christmas meal! Food and service was spectacular.

Thanksgiving. Family Style. Excellent entrees, starters, salads, and desserts. Highly recommend.

Horrible how I was treated over the phone by a representative ( sounded like an 20 year old monotone rude , short snarky girl ) and then requested the MANAGER and still was also RUDE , SNARKY ! So sad i have been going here as a tradition for years and now feel as if I am not welcome due to the attitude I got from both the representative and the manager who did it care and defended her actions by saying she has been working beg hard all day ? Sorry but I have 6 kids and a RN/BSN/MS and work just as hard . I deserve an apology and respect especially if I am going to spend 500-1k on thanksgiving i EXPECT the customer service to be top notch . If you’re going to give me an attitude over a PHONE call demanding my card details then good forbid how will I be treated at the dinner ? The HUNDREDS of people I have referred this restaurant to , I feel so foolish if they are treated the same . What a shame !
