Harold's Bar & Grill

My wife and I were on date night and just finished watching a movie. Afterwards we went across the street to Harolds to get something to eat since most places have already closed out for the night. We informed the young man at our table that we wanted to have take out. He insisted on us staying and getting a drink. We said no thank you we just want to order and go. He kept on insisting on us getting drinks. He brought us out drinks he said he wanted us to try. We didn't like them so we pushed them to the side as we waited for our food. He came back over and asked us what was wrong and we told him we didn't like the drinks and thats when he told us "we have to drink them" and that all sales are final. We never wanted drinks in the first place. My wife and i don't drink liquor and at this point i'm ready to leave even though we already ordered, but we stayed because we're hungry. The food was good but tainted with horrible service. I do appreciate the manager coming to us to help straighten things out, but this interaction could have been avoided if the waiter just listened to his customers. My order was 26.89 and they still wanting an 18% tip which they didn't deserve. So i just paid for the food, because the service wasn't good. My check on my account is 31.49. I will be filling a complaint with the better business bureau.

Chicago Harold's it is not. I'm from Chicago and these are nothing like the original Harold's in Chicago. Wings were ok. Breading was good but the oil needs to be changed, very dark and greasy taste. Fries were dry and no salt. Inside is decent, needs to be cleaned up, looks worn out.

I went on a Tuesday, it was empty and they didn't have any liquor, none! Speaking with the bartender she stated their hype days are Thurs -Sat, with hookah girl at 8 DJ 9. But based on her information I will go back during the hype hours and give them a try. It's a nice set up inside.

The guy who was a waitress is phenomenal. But the bartender, the lady, who is there Friday night on 3/22 was VERY RUDE! She had a very nasty attitude and she shouldn’t work in customer service especially. The food was great but she should not be a representation of this restaurant. She needs more training on how to interact with customer to ensure a welcoming environment.

Went last night and the bartender was mean, food took too long and we were the only ones in there and we left after waiting 29 minutes for chicken and paying $15 for a cranberry vodka!!!

The bartender last night didn't even offer me no drinks not even water. The sad part is she didn't even acknowledge me

The chef, bartender and DJ was on fire so much, I tipped them all separately! This was my first time going and they overly exceeded my expectations! I went on comedy night (Wednesday ) and the comedians was on fire as well. This is my new go to spot on Wednesday’s! Highly recommend!

My chicken was overcooked. I also ordered liver which was completely overcooked. I didn’t even eat it. No exaggeration it was completely Unable for digestion . I left the whole plate. I was told there weren’t fries so I ordered okra. However, my food came out with fries so that was a little irritating so I had to wait for okra and everyone knows you don’t want your okra soggy.. I ordered a side of broccoli and yellow rice. The yellow rice was overseas. The broccoli was good.. Drink was very mediocre. Nothing to brag about didn’t finish it. Overall, I probably wouldn’t come back to this one maybe go to one of the other locations I spent $70 and ended up leaving and getting fast food. I should’ve probably asked for a manager and got my money back. The server was nice. Best thing was the fried cheesecake and that was still a three out of 10.. I would not come back To this location
