This was a small post wedding dinner with family. The reservations were made well in advance and there had been several calls back and forth to plan this special event. That said, in actuality there was nothing at all special about it! It was less than a run of the mill dinner. The service was erratic and uneven. The main server seemed inexperienced. More than the average number of people were involved in all of it and it was strange. Cocktail and drink service was sorely lacking, slow and the timing was off. The smoked butter and bread assortment was unique, but all pieces of the bread were tough as if they had been rewarmed in a microwave. Later charger plates were removed, but the hard bound menus remained at each place. The amuse bouche (tiny tart shell filled with Boursin cheese) was served in a little silver plate ON TOP OF THE MENU which no doubt had been handled by an untold number of people!!! My daughter ordered a bottle of wine for the table and after at first coming to tell her they couldn't find the bottle, they brought ONE glass. Never saw a sommeIier. I had thought that perhaps there would have been a complimentary champagne toast or something similar to mark the occasion, but nothing. An amateurish disappointment. Great place for a special occasion. Everyone was very nice and professional. The food is killer, especially the tortilla soup.
5 service is stellar. The waiters are very attentive and helpful. Now for the food. I had the lobster bisque, steak and lobster, creme brulee, and Jason's mojito. Everything was amazing THE STEAK WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION. The char on the steak really retained the moisture and it was so juicy. The perfect pink for the medium finish I chose. No sauce needed for this masterpiece. I can't complain about a single item I had. Honestly I'm returning for the steak. Great place for a date or business meeting. 15/10 P.S GET THE TOTS. JUST GET THE DAMN TOTS!
My wife and I went to Fearings for Valentines Day....Hotel was beautiful the restaurant service and food was second to none. Chief Dean Fearing came out to greet every guest. Worth every dollar.
Alicia S. was a lovely server to have on Valentines day dinner! She was very attentive and considerate of how we felt about the dishes being served to us. She was a pleasure to have! Definitely recommend having her serve you.
Service, food, ambience - all top notch. Restaurant is inside Ritz Carlton. Cast-Iron Blackened Grouper was delicious.
Had to pay a deposit for my group of 7 on January 23rd to hold our reservation for our Galentines dinner. We came February 3rd and was to receive a refund for the deposit in 10 days. Still have yet to receive. I called and asked for an update last week and was told I would receive a call from management within 48 hours. It has been almost a week since that call. Horrible customer service and I would expect more from a fine dining establishment.
Service was excellent. Winter menu was a delight... Foie Gras was amazing... Antelope and rabbit enchiladas was An experience.
