Good old Chinese food. Perfect location as ame parking.
Great portion sizes and good quality. Worth going a little further out towards the ocean. Crazy busy at times but still had good service.
I just happen to pass by the restaurant after a meeting and decided to order some dishes for carry out. To my pleasant surprise, it is one the the slowly disappearing Cantonese/Hong Kong cuisine restaurant. The portions are large and while nothing is cheap, the prices are reasonable. The 梅菜扣肉 , steamed pork belly with pickled/fermented mustard is one of the very best I have ever had. The restaurant is not upscale nor would it impress with ambience and service, but just yaving a good traditional Cantonese Hong Kong cuisin is heart warming enough.
We had lunch for 5 people and the food was excellent. The place was crowded as it was Sunday lunch, but the food came out in a timely manner. The half fried chicken was delicious and I will be coming back to eat that.
The best Chicken Pan Fried Noodles.
