El Sombrero #2

Service was top notch but I dont go to a restaurant for the service. I go for the food. I think a lot of the reviews on here forget that. The food was extremely bland. I bet money none of the workers eat here. Even if they get a free meal. I took their recommendation and tried the pork burrito. The red sauce it was topped with was bad . The red sauce alone was too much for me. I couldn't even taste the cheese. There just wasnt enough it. Dash of cheese. Big mistake. Lots of pork. Topped with a good amount of guac. The burrito is a perfect large size. Unfortunately th pork was bland and tastless. Oddly the red sauce at the bottome of the dish was ok. The hot lettuce inside the burrito is strange. Hard pass. Wont be coming back. Great staff though. Old 90's microwave style flavored food.

I'm vegan and just walking into a taco spot its unexpected to find something delicious and also vegan but it took me 2 seconds to order such a great meal, and on top of that lots of people don't even know what really qualifies something as vegan but the cook here even made sure I knew there was milk in the guacamole when I asked for it! Saved me a stomach ache and made me want to come back again and again. But there's more!! I got take out and a lot of places now don't want you eating takeout inside but they not only let me eat it inside they also gave me water and utensils. Everything about this place screams good vibes I love it so much. If you're vegan try getting the vegetarian hard shell taco with no cheese and add grilled vegetables. And add a grilled jalapeño. It's delicious. Vegetarian options: Vegans are safe here

We have been to El Sombrero #1 closer to the Pacific Ocean, parking can be hard to locate plus parking meters. The staff was courteous and very friendly knowledgeable about the expansive menu.The food was delicious and hot. They even serve adults beverages.

Fantastic food. We were in a large group, and service was generally good until it was time to pay. We hadn't asked for a split check and trying to decipher the bill was difficult. Apparently if you order anything that deviates from the menu, there's a surcharge.

Service was excellent. Food was delicious and almost seemed better than before Covid. Definitely the place to enjoy fresh tasting Mexican food . Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair access.

I love this place. I've been going here for great Mexican food for over 30 years. You can't beat it!
