Really fresh fish and I say that with emphasis. So many SD spots just recycle old junk but everything I've had from here taste legit. The ultimate test is spicy tuna. Most spots take the tuna on the way out and chum it up with some sriracha so you can't tell it's off. Here the spicy tuna tastes refreshing.
I've been coming here since 2012....the chef is top notch and knows his sushi. Excellent drink specials....buy a large hot saki get a small hot saki for $1...buy a 22oz sapporo and get a small saki for $2. Fish is always fresh and amazing. A real hidden gem for us San Diego locals
