Soooooo gooooooood. Go try some!!!!!

I used to go here back when Paul Qui actually worked the trailer. It was incredible and packed all the time. For years I came here regularly. Decided to return for nostalgia last night and was disappointed to say the least. I’m glad Liberty has held on in this growth spurt of Austin. But the food experience was just bad. You order from a QR code. I got the famous fried chicken and side of rice. The chicken was $13 and consisted of five pieces of the most overdone chicken I’ve ever eaten. It was rock hard. It used to have this gooey stick yummy sauce on it, but this came with that orange sauce you get from Chinese restaurants on the side. The flavor wasn’t the same and just straight up thought it was awful. The rice was equally as dry so got some extra sauce to pour over it. Coulda been a one off night but I read that it’s now owned by some corporate conglomerate so it makes sense. Just wanted to share with anyone who used to frequent this spot! You may be disappointed.

Lol ok I’m biased but being Asian I expect food to taste somewhat fresh? Like you steam a bao, not microwave it.. I get it it’s austin, this is the best they can do but this isn’t even close to Asian food… this is about as authentic as Taco Bell is to Mexican food

The Brussel Sprout salad is a must try!!😋

I’m from nyc and this is a must visit every time I come to town. So much flavor and the chicken is perfectly fried. A bit pricey but for me I’m still willing to purchase.
