Kind of pricey for the amount of drink you get. Cool vibe and cups the drinks come in.
Chopper tiki bar is probably one of my favorite tiki bars in the US. The concept is ingenious, unique and very fun. It was nice to step away from the country music and hear such awesome 80's music. We came with 4 people and got one of their booths which was cozy. I tried the milk punch and robo zombie, both of which were delicious. The robo zombie is a very fun drink with a flaming crouton when presented. Overall I just had a really fun time and can't recommend it enough. We also tried the associated food truck outside which was delicious and authentic. The empanadas were good, the burrito which was vegetarian is delicious and the guacamole was fantastic. The best though was the chile de arbol which was the best salsa I've ever had.
Really cool place. It's not a typical tiki bar, but still has that vibe. We went holiday time, so they had holiday themed drinks and the tiki cups to match. Drinks are expensive so be prepared to shell out some dough - but at least they're good. We happened to be there on the day a tornado tore through TN, just north of Nashville - the whole bar was on edge, so the bartenders gave everyone a free shooter. Nice touch when you think you're all gonna die. :D
A very unique atmosphere. Good drinks. Nice service. Causal and quiet near opening time. Gets really loud when filled up and busy. However, that’s common for a bar.
The Christmas pop up bar did not disappoint! This is my favorite place in town for tiki drinks that make me feel like I'm at the beach!!
Okay maybe unpopular opinion seeing their other reviews but….suuuuper over-hyped. Sure they serve their drinks in cool tiki glasses but other than that I don’t get the draw to this place. We were put on an hour wait and an hour later (not a minute sooner) we were seated at the bar? Thought it was super weird to wait an hour and not be given a table. Also thought it was super weird that they keep the entire bar on reservations only when they don’t have food. Just drinks! What a silly business model. Not sure how this place stays open. They could quadruple their profits with a few changes. Oh, also…the service was AWFUL! Once seated at the bar we weren’t approached for 20 minutes. After that we were never approached again. Never got the opportunity to get a second round OR close our tab. We had to leave with it open since we literally couldn’t get anyone’s attention. Wasted two hours here for one 1 round of okay drinks. Kinda ruined our date night guys! Ngl…super disappointed! Def would not recommend
