Has the ownership changed? Just ate and found a plastic piece. I immediately felt nauseous, and my friend experienced diarrhea after eating too. There seems to be a food hygiene issue.
I am disappointed as I lost a go-to restaurant for the weekends. In my recent orders, I've noticed a decline in food quality – it's either too salty or carries a unpleasant odor resembling a dishcloth, leaving me feeling uncomfortable after consumption.
I ordered Peking duck but received tea-smoked duck instead. The meat's color was off, and the skin was sticking together. When I called to inquire, they claimed we picked it up too late, and the meat naturally changes color and flavor after being displayed for a while. Having savored Peking duck worldwide for three decades, it's bewildering to discover that three hours of exposure can transform it into a smoked flavor. It's not just an affront to my intelligence..I feel like I need to reassess my degree. Most neighbors in this tech-heavy area typically don't bother requesting a refund for something under a hundred dollars, but unfortunately, it symbolizes the decline of this restaurant. It's disheartening to witness a beloved childhood restaurant in the Bay Area succumb to the inability to uphold quality. I've already begun a countdown for its survival.
Food was super delicious. Best fried rice and vegetable spring role I ever ate. Restaurant is famous but still not very costly. Definitely one of best Chinese restaurant in bay area. Vegetarian options: Mapo tofu and spring rolls are so so good
Delicious Chinese food. However, there's no unlimited rice.
The food is great and the service is amazing.
