CARVE American Grille - Barton Creek

We went for lunch and sat at the bar. The service was excellent. We had the French Dip and the Steak sandwich. Both we perfect and delicious. We will definitely go back.

We had a business dinner with the amazing server Brian! He is very experienced and friendly. He remembers every detail!! Highly recommend asking for him . The food never disappoints - always fantastic!

We would never visit Carve again after our recent visit. We went for our 3 year anniversary after a recommendation from a friend. When we came our table was not ready. It was also in the middle of a very loud room (not very romantic) but luckily we could move to the outdoor space. Unfortunately our waiter was busy and we had to wait a long time to order. The food was okay but not the best we had. The ribeye was tasty but dry and the wagyu meatballs tasted most like chickpeas. Also the door to the restaurant kept going up which was a bit annoying but also extremely cold. We asked for the heater to be turned on, but it never happened. Our friend told me they got a free dessert on their anniversary and we saw others having birthday getting the same. We ordered and paid for our dessert (the mini trio). The lemon cake was really good. The rest not so much. Giving the long wait times, bland food and freezing cold A/C we decided to pay and leave without a tip as we had a very bad service. Coming home, we can see that they still charged us for a 15$ tip. Paying overprice while sitting freezing and waiting for cold and bland food was not how we expected our anniversary to be
