Carrabba's Italian Grill

Every person must have called out on the Sunday I went because I saw only 2 servers and mine was completely flustered. Horrible service. Food came out cold. Just wasn’t my typical good Carrabbas experience.

why do servers think they can talk short to customers as if we were stupid. if we asking questions is not a joke and whether you enjoy stating the menu is in english, insinuating we i read or such, just answer the question politely without insult, or get another job. maybe with patience you could find why we are asking questions after reading your english menu. is it because i was asian?

My wife and I had the free bread and the caprease as a starter. I do not care for balsamic glaze, but they put just the right amount on there. We both enjoyed it a lot. Then I had the tomato basil soup. It was ok. I have had better. Then the Carrabas trio. My wife and I split, and it was chicken parm. I think that all chicken parm should have pasta with it. When I combined it with the Alfredo pasta, it was amazing. Then, a little serving of Lasagna was on the plate also. It was pretty good. My wife also ordered cheese sticks with marinara sauce. This was rather tasty. The waiter, whose name I did not catch. Did an amazing job. Overall, it was an expensive meal but well worth it .

I would give one star but I'm going to assume that the entire staff today was maybe just having a bad day. I called them at 11 am today to make arrangements for a large party we wished to have at their establishment at 230. We arrived a little early and to our surprise our table was already ready, and looked absolutely fabulous with flowers and their presentation. Unfortunately this is where the good experience ended. The rude unattentive staff never took drink orders so people in our party who wanted something other than water had to get up to get it from the bar throughout the meal. We had waited for an hour before having to complain to have our orders taken, then got only about 80% of the food an hour after that, most of which was cold and then the last 20% about another 20 minutes after that. No one ever apologized for any of the multiple errors. Im honestly just blow aeay that a place can opperqte like this. All told we spent about 3 hours there an not a single person in our group of 25 will EVER go back to this location. My partner and I personally love Carrabba's, but now it will have to be an even rarer treat for when we can visit the one in northern Colorado Springs. This location is awful, do not recommend.

We arrived, as a party of five. We ordered the sampler app and calamari, was not impressed to say the least. I ordered the chicken Marsala, with a side of garlic rosemary fries. When it came the sauce was so greasy and the chicken a bit dry, the fries were bland with little to no garlic, all I tasted was rosemary. I did have the old fashioned mixed drink and it was pleasant. I can't speak for anyone else at the table, but I was not impressed. Since I was with a group of my coworkers I did not tell the waitress, however when a plate crosses the line looking unappetizing, often times the cooks don't have a standard and lack of attention and presentation become the new standard. "Just get it out" is not acceptable, and for the most part that type of thinking, reflected in the apps and main dishes. The atmosphere was a little sketchy, missing ceiling tiles, and having to swap my cup out for a cleaner one was not a good start.

This is one of my favorites… the entrees are very nicely spiced, the portions extremely generous, the sauces (especially the delicious uniqueness of the Marsala) superb. The house chicken soup is the best I’ve ever had. My absolute favorite bartender/server is Lee. Try to sit in the bar if he’s working… you will not regret it. Definitely my go-to for Italian!
