The food is trash, 100% not recyclable. Garbage
Not the same food I remember. A little on the blah side
Staff were great and window line was not long. The fish was undercooked, pink and chewy. Had to throw the meal away after a bite or two.
The fish fillets seem to be smaller and greasier than they used to be, or maybe it is just me. The food tasted ok, no problem there. The counter service was slow, and the focus is definitely on drive-through orders or employee personal phones. The restaurant dining area needed attention. There was trash on the floor, dirty tables, and overflowing trash cans. The area appeared dirty. Hopefully, this was just an off nite and not the normal appearance.
Family pack order and added side was spot on. There was a bit of a line through drive through but it was certainly worth the wait. The guy operating the window even made sure we had the sauce we needed(He also confirms that your order is correct before you leave the menu/mic). Will return again soon. Thank you for the great service.
Had a late lunch today with my honey at Captain D's on Madison Blvd. I have to say that this was some of the finest seafood I've eaten in a while. Any Captain D's is good most of the time but this was excellent! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. Larger than average hushpuppies (which I love) that had pieces of chopped onion that you could actually see. Fish that was fresh, tender and cooked just the way I like it! Kudos to the team at this location. They nailed it!
I do love their fish! Nice people, too. Until recently, they gave a very generous (and much appreciated) military discount on the entire order. Now that's been changed to only 10% off one item only, and they choose he least expensive item. But what can you do when you just gotta have their fish?
